Well, a hectic summer has now given way to an equally hectic autumn, in which I find myself working full-time while continuing to face-paint or baby-sit nearly every weekend. Choir season has begun once again, with five performances - each with different repertoire - between now and December, and a "retreat" happening this weekend. "Retreat," in this case, translates to "roughly 16 hours of singing between Friday night and Sunday afternoon, usually resulting in total vocal exhaustion" - not great when I spend my days mostly on the phone, but necessary in order to cover the sheer volume of music we have for the coming months.

I did manage to find the cutest music note pyjamas to take with me (in true testament to my status as a choir geek), so I'm at least looking forward to kicking around in those all weekend.

Meanwhile, on the wedding front, I have a venue, date, caterer, DJ, photographer, cake, and dress, and have already been in touch with the officiant. Which leaves guest favours (which I've already decided on and will order closer to the date) flowers (also decided on and ordering later) and invitations (which we're making an appointment to view in October, when I have some free time again). I'm actually scaring myself with how unnaturally organized I've managed to be about this. Now what am I going to do for the rest of the time?

Probably won't be anything new to see here for a while, especially since my photoshop trial expired and GIMP, which I gave a try to, doesn't seem to want to support my tablet PC. I'm sure by now nobody checks by here anyways; goodness knows I post so rarely.

At any rate, I'm happy - if perhaps somewhat busier than I'd like to be - and I'll try to add a few doodles up here and there over the next few months. Probably wedding-related since that's what's on my mind. So, on that note...
